Two new variants of the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH were showcased at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week. PT Chery Sales Indonesia introduced the Tiggo 8 CSH Comfort and AWD variants to expand its lineup of electric SUVs. Previously, this Chery Super Hybrid–powered model was available in only one variant, the Premium.
PT CSI launched these two new variants not only to broaden its portfolio but also to strengthen Chery’s position in the premium 7-seater SUV segment. Chery responded to consumer requests, some wanted a version with fewer features for a more affordable price, while others preferred a model equipped with more advanced technology.

The Tiggo 8 CSH Comfort comes as a more budget-friendly option compared to the Premium variant. Despite being more affordable, Chery still maintains the comfort and premium feel that characterize the Chery Super Hybrid lineup in the Tiggo 8 CSH Comfort.
In terms of specifications, the Tiggo 8 CSH Comfort continues to offer various standout features, including ADAS technology combined with 8 airbags to ensure maximum safety. It is also equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which provides real-time tire pressure information to increase driver awareness and reduce potential risks.
The Tiggo 8 CSH Comfort is also fitted with a 540° HD Panoramic View camera system to assist the driver while on the road. Inside the cabin, it features Dual-zone Automatic A/C to enhance passenger comfort. In addition, this model comes with a smart voice assistant that makes in-car activities easier during every drive.
In terms of performance, the Comfort variant uses the ACTECO H4J15 1,500 cc Turbo engine, producing 143 PS and 215 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an electric motor that adds up to 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque. This combination allows the Tiggo 8 CSH Comfort to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in just 8 seconds.
Tiggo 8 CSH AWD Offers a Premium Driving Experience
The Chery Tiggo 8 CSH AWD is designed to deliver a premium driving experience for its users. This variant combines an internal combustion engine (ICE) with two modern electric motors specifically engineered for the latest-generation Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) platform.
This model is equipped with a 1,500 cc ACTECO H4J15 Turbo engine capable of producing 143 PS and 215 Nm of torque. The gasoline engine’s performance is further enhanced by three electric motors positioned on the front and rear wheels.
With this configuration, the Tiggo 8 CSH AWD’s total system output reaches 363 kW, with a combined maximum torque of 640 Nm. This variant can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds.
Inside the cabin, the vehicle features a Queen Seat with a massage function on the front passenger seat. Additionally, the first and second rows are equipped with ventilated seats for extra comfort. The panoramic sunroof also enhances the premium atmosphere inside the Tiggo 8 CSH AWD.
Chery has also equipped the Tiggo 8 CSH AWD with various smart features, including voice command, an Augmented Reality HUD, and a 15.6-inch high-definition touchscreen. The Tiggo 8 CSH AWD also comes with a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function with up to 3.3 kW of power, enabling the vehicle to serve as an external electricity source.
